Get Free Songs from Emusic with Every Avis Car Rental
Choose from More than Three Million Tracks and Customized Playlists
NEW YORK, NY & PARSIPPANY, NJ – For many people, the idea of a car trip without music is unthinkable. From compact disks to MP3 players to satellite radio, travelers always want to bring along the perfect soundtrack for their road trip. Now eMusic, the world's largest digital retailer of independent music, is teaming up with Avis to offer free music with every car rental.
Avis renters can choose from eMusic's vast catalogue of more than three million music tracks and will receive five free tracks for every rental up to four days in length, and ten tracks for rentals more than five days in length. Avis will also offer renters who complete a reservation the eMusic free "Daily Download."
To help them get the most out of their travel, eMusic and Avis will provide renters with exclusive playlists developed by dedicated "eMusicologists" themed for holiday weekends, specific destinations and more. Recent playlists have included "Country Roads," featuring Taylor Swift and Patsy Cline, "American Roots," including jazz and blues masters such as John Coltrane and John Lee Hooker, and a variety of Christmas holiday playlists. Avis customers can also sign up for an eMusic free trial and use the service to discover more great music and audiobooks for their next business or leisure trip, and because eMusic provides all tracks in the universally compatible MP3 format, they can easily transfer those tracks to any digital music device or burn to CD for use in their car, home or portable music player.
eMusic's artists include indie rockers such as Arcade Fire and Spoon, legendary performers Johnny Cash and Creedence Clearwater Revival and seminal jazz masters such as Bill Evans, John Coltrane and Miles Davis. eMusic's long-standing devotion to authentic sounds and adult customers led Avis to partner with the company as its exclusive music partner.

To receive free music downloads, customers must enroll in the Avis eMusic Giveaway at www.avis.com/emusic. Car rental reservations must be made through avis.com or through the Avis reservation center at 1-888-777-AVIS. An e-mail containing eMusic download codes will be automatically sent after customers complete each qualifying rental.
