TRIPinfo.com's "Traveler Show & Tell" Got a Picture to Show or Story to Tell? We're Interested! Let Us Know. November 5, 2008 My Rim-to-Rim Grand Canyon Hike
GRAND CANYON, AZ – I took a four-day hike covering about thirty miles. It can be done in two days, and some people do it in one. But you don’t really get to see the Canyon that way. We dropped from 8,200 feet on the North Rim to 2,650 feet at the Colorado River, then climbed out to 6,700 feet at the South Rim. A definite workout! This is the Black Bridge, one of the bridges used by hikers and mule riders to cross the Colorado River. Copyright 2008 TRIPmedia Group, Inc. All rights
