A View of South Carolina's Beautiful Lowcountry from Our Canoe
EDISTO RIVER, SC – Here we are paddling the beautiful black water of the Edisto River in South Carolina. The Edisto River Basin is the world's longest free-flowing "blackwater" stream. The blackwater is from the tannic acids from the trees and vegetation around the river. The river's peaceful rate of flow makes it ideal for paddling enthusiasts of all skill levels. And a great time was had by all!
