The contest, which began on Tuesday, takes place at YourFatChance.com. YourFatChance.com invites participants to enter their funny bad luck story in 100 words or less. The top 25 funniest entries will be announced by May 13. These will be posted at www.YourFatChance.com, where people can then cast their votes for the funniest story.

The story that receives the most votes will receive the Grand Prize: a one-week vacation rental, valued at up to $2,500, selected from EVRentals.com, plus a $2,000 Visa gift card. First prize is a one-week vacation rental, valued at up to $1,500. All 25 finalists will receive an eco-friendly stainless steel bottle and a reusable shopping bag from Endless Vacation Rentals.
