WASHINGTON, DC – We enjoyed our tour of the Capitol this spring. We began the tour at the Capitol Visitor Center, the new main entrance, located below the East Plaza of the Capitol between Constitution and Independence Avenues. The free, guided tour (tour passes are required) begins with a 13-minute film, "Out of Many, One," that shows how this country established a new form of government, highlights the role that Congress plays, and introduces the building that houses Congress.
