Mark Browning Chief Executive Officer
Mark has 35+ years travel marketing experience. He has thoroughly traveled all 50 USA states, Europe, the Caribbean and attended 225+ industry shows. From 1977-1992 Mark's firm represented 13 successful launches by major USA travel publishers. In 1993 he launched TRIP in print, and in 1996 TRIPinfo.com…the 1st website for the travel professional B2B market. He has addressed many groups on travel marketing and, with the USTTA in the 1990s—and Brand USA since 2012, avidly promotes inbound tourism to the USA. Mark holds a degree in marketing from Vanderbilt University, was inducted into Who's Who in Advertising, and honored with the STS "Spirit of Southeast Tourism Award." He lives with his wife of 30+ years in their native North Atlanta. Both greatly enjoy traveling, especially with their two grown children.
Eric Cunningham Chief Information Officer
Eric joined the company in 1998. He administers the company's Apple network, the TRIPinfo.com website, and the databases that are the backbone of the company. He maintains the circulation lists for both the magazine and email newsletter, as well as managing the company's web analytics. Originally from the Midwest, Eric has traveled around the U.S., including Alaska & Hawaii, and to Canada, Mexico, England, Japan and the Caribbean. He enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs, playing softball and rooting for the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Braves.
Sheala Browning Chief Content Officer
Sheala became involved in travel media publishing in 1985, following a distinguished 11-year career as a training specialist. Sheala has traveled extensively throughout 48 states. As Editorial Director, she forged TRIPsouth's recognition as a quality reference product, as well as the Marketing Volume Travel newsletter when it originally appeared in print, and later fax, in 1995. Sheala holds a degree in English from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Human Resources from Georgia State University. She is an active ALTA and USTA tennis player and is actively involved in the homeowner's association of the neighborhood where she and Mark built their home in 1985.
Scott Isenburg Chief Technology Officer
Scott joined the team in 2013. He maintains our internal database structures and provides technical support for the website. Scott constantly finds innovative ways to accomplish high efficiency between our source database and resultant 31,400+ links on the TRIPinfo.com portal. A native of Atlanta, he began programming as a young teenager, fine-tuning his technology expertise at Georgia Tech, graduating in 2009. Scott enjoys anything dealing with the outdoors and photography. He has traveled across the USA and overseas, and planned and led Adventure Travel groups to the Florida Keys, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Lebanon, and Utah.
Sam Griffiths Chief Design Officer
Sam became Chief Design Officer for TRIPinfo.com in 2014, upon deftly creating the site's 6th facelift in 18 years online. The contemporary Gray-Scale-Content approach provides dominant branding for Wide Skyscraper page sponsors, while maintaining simple, 2-click format and fast load speed. Sam also designed a fun, animated video that easily tells the TRIPinfo.com story in ~2 minutes, and he creates supporting graphics for industry presentations. An Atlanta area native, Sam obtained a BA degree in Telecommunication Arts & Film Studies from the University of Georgia in 2007. He is highly skilled in both Graphic & Motion design and has delivered top work in New York City, Los Angeles & Atlanta. Fitting with the rest of the team, he has traveled extensively from coast to coast throughout the USA.
Chief Communications Officer
Chuck joined TRIPinfo.com in 2014, and is all about communications – with customers, partners and the social media community. A marketing and social media maven, Chuck is a LinkedIn expert who is working on making TRIPinfo.com the best travel professional’s resource online and in social media. A graduate of the University of Southern California, he has traveled to 49 states, worked in Southern & Northern California, North Carolina & Pittsburgh and has spoken to business conferences in Australia, Canada & Mexico. Through social media he has connected with business associates and friends throughout the world and has addressed audiences via teleseminar in Poland, Sweden, Israel & Brazil.
TRIPmedia Group, Inc. began with the launch of TRIP in the Spring of 1993. The quarterly periodical served as a Travel Reference Information Planner for travel professionals booking volume to the South, destination for 52% of USA travel. It reached 60% of all domestic travel pros. The publication evolved into TRIPinfo.com's Resource Atlas & Handbook - now TRIPinfo Quarterly Digital Magazine for the firm’s extensive online reference information.
In 1996 TRIPinfo.com launched as the 1st B2B Travel Reference Information Portal...referenced by the travel professional users of the print guide. By 2000 the company began its email newsletter, Internet Travel Monitor, now delivered to 15,000 travel professionals.
