TRIPmedia Group, Inc. evolved from the launch of TRIPsouth in the Spring of 1993. That quarterly print periodical served as a Travel Reference Information Planner for travel professionals booking volume to the South, the destination for 52% of USA travel. The publication has evolved into TRIPInfo.com's Resource Atlas & Handbook - 2 annual guides to the firm’s extensive online reference information.
In 1996 TRIPinfo.com launched to quickly access additional information on TRIPsouth’s advertisers for its travel professional readers. Today, about 20,000 of TRIPinfo.com’s monthly users remain travel professionals. Savvy travel planners also find the site via top ten search results on thousands of travel search combinations, as well as millions of TRIPinfo.com maps in distribution.
By 2000 the company started its email newsletters, now widely received by 35,000 opt-in recipients. Road maps were added in 2002. Today the central brand of TRIPmedia Group is the national TRIPinfo.com: Internet, Print, Newsletters & Maps. |
