A Winter Adventure in the National Elk Refuge
JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING - Established in 1912, the National Elk Refuge is home to 5,000+ elk each winter. They migrate to the area during the fall and stay until spring when food becomes easier to find. From mid-December thru early April, tours of the area via a horse-drawn sleigh ride are available.
