Sightseeing in the Alaskan Frontier
ALASKA - The Alaska Railroad provides passenger service and sight-seeing opportunities along 482 miles of track from Fairbanks to Seward. Each of the 5 train routes offers views of picturesque landscapes; the train may occasionally slow down to give riders the chance for a great photo op. Although the railroad operates year-round, scheduled services varies seasonally. The summer season runs from mid-May to mid-September.
