WAIMEA, KAUAI, HAWAII - Known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, the colorful, 10-mile long Waimea Canyon was formed by erosion from the Waimea River. This shot was taken from the Waimea Canyon State Park's Lookout at an elevation of 3,400 feet.
