KEY LARGO, FLORIDA - Built in 1912 and named the S/L Livingstone, the iconic boat was cast in the movie "The African Queen" and renamed for her starring role by Director John Huston. Also starring in this 1951 movie was Humphrey Bogart (won Academy Award for Best Actor) and Katherine Hepburn (nominated for Best Actress). Having a storied past, the adventurous Queen has been around the world twice. During filming, she sank and had to be raised twice. This famous steamboat is available for daily canal cruises and dinner cruises in the Port Largo Canal area and also for private events.
