U.S. Customs and Border Protection Launches Cloud-Based Trusted Traveler Programs Website

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency announced the launch of a new website, the Trusted Traveler Programs system, which replaced the agencyÕs Global Online Enrollment System, or GOES, on October 1.
Just as with the GOES website, the new system will be used for trusted-traveler program applications and the creation of user accounts as well as the generation of notifications to members concerning account status and approvals.

All user data was transferred from the old system to the new one prior to the new siteÕs launch.

The agency said that the switch to the new cloud-based system will not impact a userÕs current membership in or submitted applications for trusted traveler programs including Global Entry, Sentri, and Nexus.

Users who began the application process prior to October 1 without completing it can continue the process on the new site.
