London Bridge
London Bridge

LAKE HAVASU CITY, ARIZONA – London Bridge spanned the River Thames in London, England from the time it was completed in 1831 until it was sold to Lake Havasu City founder Robert P. McCulloch in 1968. It was carefully dismantled in London, with each block numbered, and reconstructed over the Bridgewater Channel connecting Lake Havasu City to an island in the Colorado River. Walking tours of the bridge – now one of Arizona's top attractions – are available.
