A Destination of Deception

A Destination of Deception

OAK HARBOR, WASHINGTON - Washington's most-visited state park is a destination for more than 2,000,000 people each year. Located in the northern Puget Sound region, Deception Pass State Park - spanning two islands, Fidalgo to the north and Whidbey to the south - covers 4,134+ acres. The park's iconic Deception Pass Bridge, pictured here, and Canoe Pass Bridge connect the two islands. Both are on the National Register of Historic Places. Popular activities in this area include fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, bird and wildlife watching.
