BALL GROUND, GEORGIA - One of the nation's largest residential estate gardens, Gibbs Gardens spans 376 acres that are filled with flowers, a lovely stream, multiple springs, 24 ponds, 32 bridge crossings, 19 waterfalls and the house. This time of year, the flowers are in bloom and at their peak summer colors. Visitors typically spend 3.5 to 4 hours touring the Manor House Gardens, Valley Gardens and Inspiration Gardens. Self-guided group visits of 10 or more may be arranged.
