Find Your Winter Beauty
LAKE TAHOE, CALIFORNIA - The clear, blue waters of Lake Tahoe straddle the state lines of California and Nevada in the snowy Sierra Nevada mountain range. At 122,160,280 acres, the lake is the largest Alpine lake in North America and the nation's second deepest lake at 1,645 feet, behind Crater Lake (1,949 feet) in Oregon. During the winter months, the surrounding mountains attract snow skiiers, snowboarders and nordic skiiers to area ski resorts. Visitors are treated to pristine scenery and crystal blue waters throughout the year.
