Observing Golden Hour in The Keys
KEY LARGO, FLORIDA - Following a day of snorkeling or scuba diving in what is known as the "Diving Capital of the World," residents and visitors, alike, stop to watch the sunset during golden hour. Preceding the sunset, the quiet chatter centers around the anticipated quality of that particular sunset as cameras and cell phones are drawn to capture the moment. An interesting note: The Florida Keys, including Key Largo, is one of the few places where you can watch the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean in the morning and walk a few steps to watch the sunset over the Florida Bay that evening.
