Relaxing in a Garden
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico - Visitors explore the 1.5+ miles of paths through formal and whimsical gardens in the 36-acre Botanic Gardens, just one of the 4 museums comprising ABQ BioPark. The others are the zoo, aquarium and Tingley Beach.
The Botanic Gardens include a 10,000 sq. ft. conservatory housing plants from the desert and Meditteranean climate zones, Bug Bend featuring the Bugarium, butterflies and bees, the Children's Fantasy Gardens miniature train, the Heritage Farms showcasing a typical New Mexican Ranch of the 1940s and the Specialty Gardens.
