Six Flags season passes are now grouped regionally, providing access to multiple theme parks and water parks rather than just one.
Six Flags restructures season passes by region
Six Flags Entertainment Corporation announced the change to a regional season pass structure on Feb. 2, 2026. The new structure applies to Six Flags “gold” passes, and introduces four groups: East, Midwest, Texas, and West. (See which parks belong to which group below.) “Silver”-level passes remain on an individual park-by-park basis.
For a limited time, guests can purchase a gold pass for the price of a silver pass at select parks.
Season passholders who already have a gold pass to a Six Flags park do not have to do anything to receive the added benefit of admission to all parks of their respective regional tier. If you already purchased a gold pass to any Six Flags park, you’ll automatically now receive 2026 admission to all the parks belonging to that park’s region.

What these changes mean for Six Flags
“We’re redefining what a season pass or membership can be,” said John Reilly, president and CEO of Six Flags. “By including multiple parks with every gold pass, guests can explore more rides, more events and more experiences all with one affordable pass. We’ll unlock more fun and adventure at an unbeatable value.”
The new structure marks the first company-wide sweeping change under Reilly, who was installed as Six Flags’ new president and CEO in December 2025. Reilly replaced Richard A. Zimmerman, who led Cedar Fair prior to its 2024 merge with Six Flags. Reilly was previous CEO of other theme park companies such as Palace Entertainment and SeaWorld.
Last year, Six Flags launched its “MVP” (Most Valuable Pass) sale, a limited-time offer during which guests who purchased a 2026 season pass to any North American Six Flags park received admission to the company’s 50+ other North American parks for free. It seems this new regional structure is a more restrained, long-term version of that temporary offer.
North American Six Flags personnel recently said the company may close or sell more of its theme parks — after already shuttering several — as the company continues to evaluate its portfolio of over 50 parks following its merge with Cedar Fair in 2024.
Six Flags Qiddiya City opened just a few weeks ago in Saudi Arabia, complete with Falcons Flight, the world’s tallest and fastest roller coaster.
