The Falls Between Two Countries

Niagara Falls

NIAGARA FALLS - Horseshoe Falls (aka Canadian Falls) on the Canadian side and American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls on the US side are the three separate waterfalls that make up Niagara Falls. They are located at the southern end of Niagara Gorge between Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada and Niagara Falls, New York. This panoramic shot was taken from the Canadian side of the Falls.

Attractions and things to do on the American side of Niagara Falls include visiting Niagara Reservation State Park - the oldest state park in the nation - and Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, taking guided tours on the street trolley, cruising to the falls on the world-famous Maid of the Mist Boat and getting wet at the Cave of the Winds. On the Canadian side, seeing the falls from Queen Victoria Park, taking the Journey Behind the Falls, ziplining high above the Niagara River Gorge, riding the Niagara Skywheel and viewing incredible vistas from the Skylon Tower are some unforgettable things to do.
